Why you might get a pending order

 


⏳ Why You Might See a Pending Order

If your child’s meal order is marked as “Pending,” it means the cafeteria system is still waiting for payment confirmation. This status helps ensure that every order is verified before being processed and delivered.

🧭 Common Reasons for a Pending Order

1. Payment Not Completed

You may have started the payment process but didn’t finish it. Orders remain pending until full payment is made.

2. Receipt Not Uploaded

If you paid via Telebirr or another manual method, the system requires a screenshot of your payment receipt. Without this upload, the order can’t be confirmed.

3. Incorrect Payment Details

If the payment was made but the Order Number wasn’t included in the “Note” field, the system may not match your payment to the correct order.

4. Delayed Verification

Sometimes payments take a few minutes to process. If you’ve uploaded your receipt, the status will update shortly after verification.


✅ How to Resolve It

To complete your pending order:

  1. Open the Telebirr app
  2. Select “Pay for Merchant”
  3. Enter:
    • Merchant Code: 865790
    • Operator Code: 054099
    • Amount: (match your order total)
    • Note Field: Your Order Number (e.g., 00073)
  4. Confirm and complete the transaction
  5. Take a screenshot of the payment confirmation
  6. Return to the Order Detail page and upload the screenshot
